Day-by-Day Itinerary
Upon arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our team holding a sign with your name. After a smooth transfer to your hotel, the evening is yours to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Overnight in Dhaka.
Your day begins at 8:00 am, as your guide and driver pick you up. The adventure starts at Kawran Bazar, one of Dhaka’s largest wholesale markets, buzzing with the colors and sounds of vegetables, fish, and fruits traded along the railway tracks.
From there, you’ll stop at the striking National Parliament Building for a photo opportunity, then continue to Baitul Mokarram National Mosque and the top of the Municipal Building for a panoramic view over Dhaka’s old and new contrasts.
Next, dive into Old Dhaka’s labyrinth of lanes, vibrant bazaars, and riverfront life. At Sadarghat Boat Terminal, cross the Buriganga River in a traditional rowing boat to explore the dramatic ship-repair yards, where massive vessels are rebuilt by hand.
After returning to Sadarghat, you’ll continue to visit the Armenian Church, the starry-domed Star Mosque, the Dhakeshwari Temple, and the red-bricked Curzon Hall. After lunch near Lalbagh Fort, you’ll explore its Mughal architecture and hear the stories of its unfinished history.
Overnight in Dhaka.
After breakfast, set out for a full-day tour of Sonargaon, the ancient capital of Bengal. Begin at the charming Goaldi Mosque, a 16th-century gem from the Sultanate period. Explore the Folk Art & Craft Museum and the grand Sardar Bari mansion, showcasing Bangladesh’s cultural heritage.
After lunch at a traditional Bengali restaurant, stroll through Panam Nagar, the 19th-century abandoned merchant town, where 52 historic buildings still line the main street—echoes of a bygone era.
Later, board a local boat to cross the Meghna River and visit a quiet river island, where you’ll walk among villagers and experience rural hospitality. In the evening, continue by road (90 minutes) to Ekduaria village, where your homestay family will welcome you.

This day is about immersing yourself in rural simplicity. Wake up to birdsong, harvest vegetables from the garden, and cook breakfast in a mud kitchen. Join farmers in their fields for seasonal agricultural work, then share a traditional lunch together.
In the afternoon, visit the local school, meet children, and learn about the rural education system. Spend time walking through the village, chatting with locals, and enjoying playful activities like cricket or carrom. Try fishing with villagers at a nearby lake, or join a workshop on cooking or dressmaking.
As evening falls, sip tea in the village market, watch the sunset, and enjoy a warm family dinner under the stars.
