 Taabu Tours – Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Application

These Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) govern the relationship between Taabu Tours (hereafter “TT”) and tour participants, as well as third parties booking tours on behalf of participants (“Customer(s)”). They apply to all services provided by TT, including the organization and guiding of excursions (“Tour(s)”).

For activities provided by third-party providers, TT acts only as an agent. Such services are subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party provider.


2. Booking & Contract Formation

Customers must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts.

Bookings can be made via website, email, phone, hotel partners, travel agencies, or in person.

Even free participation requires a booking. Without a valid booking, TT may exclude the participant.

If a booking is made for other participants, the person making the booking is responsible for payment and acceptance of these T&Cs on behalf of all participants.

A contract is formed only when TT confirms the booking.

3. Information Required for Booking

Customers must provide all requested details (passport info, permits, air ticket details, etc.) before the payment deadline.

Failure to provide information may result in:

Administrative fees,

Cancellation of booking (with applicable cancellation fees), or

Additional costs due to errors or delays.


TT is not responsible for mistakes caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by Customers.

4. Prices & Payment

Tour prices (“Tour Price”) are listed in USD.

Full payment is due at the time of booking.

Prices may change under extraordinary circumstances (see section 7).

5. Cancellations & Changes by the Customer

TT does not provide cancellation insurance. Customers are advised to obtain their own.

Multi-day tours:

Cancel before the payment deadline → No cancellation charges.

Cancel after the deadline → 100% cancellation fee (unless otherwise stated on the invoice).


Hotels booked via TT may have non-refundable rates or cancellation deadlines. No-shows may incur additional penalties.

Changes to confirmed bookings may incur a handling fee at TT’s discretion.

6. Cancellation by TT

TT may cancel or alter a Tour in cases such as:

Force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, road closures, etc.),

Unsafe or unforeseeable conditions,

Minimum participant numbers not being met.


In such cases, Customers will receive a refund of the Tour Price already paid. Further compensation is excluded.

7. Changes in Prices & Services

TT may adjust Tour Prices in cases of extraordinary circumstances, such as:

Increased transport or provider costs,

Newly introduced taxes or fees.


Customers will be notified at least 3 weeks before the Tour. If the price increase exceeds 10%, Customers may:

Cancel the booking with a full refund, or

Rebook an alternative TT Tour of equal value without penalty.

TT may also adjust itineraries or services due to extraordinary circumstances. Any additional costs will be borne by the Customer.

8. Participation Terms

Participants must present a valid passport/ID at check-in.

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Customers must inform TT of any health conditions. Adequate health & travel insurance is the Customer’s responsibility.

Participation is not allowed under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication affecting fitness.

Pets are not permitted.

TT reserves the right to exclude participants who:

Fail to comply with instructions,

Pose safety risks,

Arrive late (15 minutes for half-day tours / 20 minutes for full-day tours).

Excluded participants are not entitled to a refund.

9. Liability

Customers join tours at their own risk.

Booking

To confirm your tour, a 20% deposit of the total tour price is required.

The remaining balance must be paid 60 days before the travel date.

Cancellation

60+ days before travel → Full refund of all payments made.

31–59 days before travel → 50% of the total tour price will be charged.

30 days or less before travel → 100% of the total tour price will be charged (no refund).

Modifications

Any changes to your booking are subject to approval by Taabu Tours.
